Mr Keith Powell

Meet Mr Keith Powell our new Head of Year 11 and PE teacher since September 2017. Mr Powell's role in the school is to support, hold accountable and develop a team of tutors, focusing on high standards of social, personal and academic development of students.  In addition to his pastoral role Mr Powell is an active member of the PE team and currently runs the Year 7 rugby team. He seems to be in denial of his age and continues to challenge himself by competing in various events such as; Tough Mudder, Spartan and the Nuts Challenge.  His most recent achievement was to compete in the 3 Peaks Challenge in 24 hrs and the Spartan Beast, helping to raise £4,000+ for the Sue Ryder charity.  In his spare time he coaches rugby every Sunday for the U16's at Old Colfeians and Kent County U15's whilst also juggling commitments with his own two very sporting teenage boys.
