Meet Our Senior Leadership Team
Mr Charlie Guthrie joined the school as Head Teacher in September 2017 having previously been Head Teacher of a high school in Kent as well as holding senior leadership positions in a range of schools, including an international school in Italy. He has also worked as a leading teacher in a London Borough and an educational consultant and as such he brings a wealth of experience to the school from the range of contexts in which he has worked. He believes passionately that every child deserves the very best from their education, both academically and from the range of extra-curricular opportunities that a school can provide. In his spare time, he is a keen runner, and having three sons also keeps him fit. He enjoys walking his dog by the sea. He supports Crystal Palace FC and is always ready to play for them, should the call come!
As a National Leader of Education Donna Lodge has been recognised for her work as an outstanding Head teacher over an extensive career encompassing opening new schools, working with schools requiring improvement and developing existing schools to achieve Good and Outstanding OFSTED inspection ratings.
Promoting a range of teaching and learning practices within a variety of school settings, Donna has developed strong teams of teachers, leaders and administrators through constructive challenge and support for innovation and continuous improvement.
Mrs Jackman is proud to have been a member of the school since joining in January 2002. During that time, she has taken on several roles, from teacher of English, Head of Year, Assistant Head Teacher and is currently Deputy Head Teacher responsible for standards in Key Stages 3. Mrs Jackman has a deep interest in education and cares passionately about the students that parents trust us to look after and believe that every child deserves the very best we have to offer.
Cooking and eating are two of her favourite things, so when not in school she is happy trying her hand in the kitchen or finding new and interesting places to eat.

Mr Mark Baker leads by example in the classroom with a creative and innovative approach to his lessons. He has been a member of the school since 2004 and has consistently achieved excellent examination results along with positively contributing to the wider life and ethos of the school through his committed approach to providing sporting and extracurricular opportunities for all students.
Mr Baker fell in love with snowboarding when he was invited on a school trip in 2005 and after a few practice sessions, a few bumps and some epic falls along the way he has never looked back! He became school snowsports party leader in 2010 and has led trips to some amazing resorts in Europe and the USA. After 12 years Mr Baker has enjoyed over 25 trips, some with the school, others with friends and family. Mr Baker explains ‘ the feeling that you get from trying something new, repeatedly failing and finally getting it right is like no-other’. Mr Baker is an expert snowboarder and huge advocate for the sport … so if you’re thinking of going skiing or snowboarding, you know where to come for advice and tips!
